Responsibilities

  • Assist the senior brokers with placement process in order to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Organise client data, check data for reasonability, load data into predictive models, run the models and share output with senior actuaries to help determine client's degree of risk
  • Perform basic calculations with client data to assess a range of risk exposures and predict outcomes for clients in support of reinsurance transaction process
  • Collect and analyze industry data and updates the trending process in the predictive models to support advisory work
  • Conduct research on industry/regulatory developments that affect loss liabilities to determine the impact on clients
  • Keep teams updated on industry-specific and speciality related trends that may affect reinsurance programs/calculations
  • Perform simple calculations using the MetaRisk model to help assess outcomes for clients
