Responsibilities

  • Oversees Student Living purchases for department
  • Approves and reconciles all procurement card charges
  • Reconciliation of Student Living chart strings
  • Serves as authorized signer on chart strings
  • Review casual wage and recreate report for office use
  • Create and approve all journal entries for department
  • Handles cash and check deposits for office
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly budget reports, forecasting year-end balances
  • Maintains all residence hall-level budgets and oversees spending
  • Prepares and reviews travel expenditures and contracts for department
  • Oversee Invest Syracuse and Co-Curricular accounts for Student Living
  • Prepare and submit all reimbursements for staff and candidates and for moving expenses for new employees
  • Preparation and reconciliation of office expenses, including telecommunications, PRs, IDs, travel vouchers
  • Prepare, submit and amend Room & Board credits for 180+ paraprofessional student leaders
  • Prepares and manages application of meal dollars on staff SUID accounts, as needed
  • Oversees Resident Advisor and Residence Hall Association student stipends
  • Train and support Residence Hall Association treasurer and professional staff regarding fiscal processes and procedures
  • Maintain major equipment inventory and MSDS binder
  • Coordinate and maintain copier
  • Oversees office supply orders and special purchases through epro
  • Coordinate service agreements, departmental recycling, records archiving
  • Coordinate van driver certification process
  • Pulls reports from MySlice, ePro, MyReports, FAST as needed
  • Serve on departmental and divisional committees
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development
  • Other duties as assigned
