Requirements

  • 2.5 - 4.5 Years of experience in Java technology stack handling production support role
  • Proficient in Java technology stack - Core Java, JPA, Build Tools like Maven & Gradle - DevOps.
  • Web UI Technologies: Cold fusion, J2EE design patterns, JSP, Angular, GWT, (additionally java script, jquery, Ajax, HTML, CSS and Other UI Technologies: React, Bootstrap will be nice to have)
  • Working knowledge of SOAP and Rest APIs.
  • Knowledge of any Application Server (preferably Weblogic and Websphere)
  • Knowledge of Dev Ops tools i.e. GIT, Jenkins, SourceTree etc. will be an added advantage
  • Good to have knowledge in EJB, JMS, Web Services, MQ Series and OOAD, Class designs etc using UML modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Able to develop test, and implement changes to existing J2EE applications.
  • Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interface design, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
  • Is accountable for the ongoing support of application systems in production including problem analysis, resolution, and escalation, and reporting as necessary.
  • Monitor system performance and fix production abends.
  • Prepare documentation describing solution.
  • Good Reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Work as a team player / Strong Collaboration.
  • Should be flexible to support Nightly batch/On-call/Weekend Upgrades, Implementations and rostered Night shift if required.
