What are the primary responsibilities of the Architectural Designer?
The Architectural Designer is responsible for preparing conceptual designs, coordinating project design and documentation with external consultants, managing design and engineering consultants, preparing and reviewing construction documents, monitoring project progress, creating furniture plans, and working with the Art and Branding teams on venue art programs.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Licensure is preferred, along with a strong understanding of building codes and systems.
What software skills are necessary for this role?
Applicants should have working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketchup/Enscape, and Bluebeam.
Is previous experience in venue-related projects necessary?
Yes, experience working on venue-related build outs, expansions, and/or improvements is preferred.
Who will the Architectural Designer report to?
The Architectural Designer will report to the VP, Venues and Operations in Canada, as well as Live Nation's Global Director of Architecture & Design.
Will travel be required for this position?
Yes, the role will require travel to project sites and meetings, both within Canada and the US.
