Requirements

  • To be considered as an Archivist, you will need:
  • Either a postgraduate archival qualification, or equivalent practical experience working in an archive environment
  • Proven experience of working with archive collections management software such as Epexio
  • Experience of digitisation processes
  • An understanding and experience of the appraisal and arrangement of large archive collections and cataloguing to ISAD(G)
  • Good working knowledge of relevant archival legislation and standards
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to write engaging promotional materials
  • Self-reliant, innovative, ability to use own judgement
  • Flexible, able to take on a range of tasks as a member of a small team
