Responsibilities

  • The post holder will join our Primary Care Services as a key member of the practice team and as such will fully contribute to the delivery of the service.

  • The post is a salaried post with Royal Wolverhampton Trust (RWT) the postholder would be working across the Vertical Integration Practices.
  • The postholder’s indemnity would be covered by Royal Wolverhampton Trust under the hospital scheme for GMS work and the postholder would have paid time for study and CPD.
  • The PCN is always open to new ideas and developing a new model of Primary Care provision through Vertical Integration.
  • The PCN prides itself on providing a high quality of service for our patients, working closely with our administrative and nursing staff to make our practices supportive places to work.
  • Since working closely with RWT, we are actively planning changes, to improve patient care in the community by increasingly close working and blurring of the boundaries between primary and secondary care.

  • It is also our aim through Vertical Integration to make Primary Care more attractive as a specialty with improved working life for GPs.
