What will the main responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant be?
The main responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of the monthly P&L, performing monthly reconciliations of stock records, preparing monthly journals, and identifying risks and monitoring trends through KPIs.
What skills are required for this position?
Advanced Excel skills (including V Lookups and Pivot Tables) are required, along with demonstrable reconciliations experience and ideally experience in a stock-heavy business. An Accounting and Finance degree or part-qualified AAT is also preferred.
