The primary responsibility of the Assistant Community Manager is to motivate and encourage Leasing Consultants in leasing tasks, compile and utilize market information, and prepare for advancement to Property Manager.
Is prior experience in property management required for this position?
While 1+ years of experience in property management or real estate is preferred, it is not strictly required.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
You must have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma; post-secondary education in business or property management is preferred.
What specific tasks will I perform in this role?
You will collect rent, file evictions, issue lease violations, approve applications, audit move-ins, oversee billing, complete monthly reports, and assist with leasing and resident functions.
Are there any particular software skills needed for this position?
Yes, knowledge of property management software such as Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Will I need to work weekends?
Yes, you may need to work one weekend a month.
