Responsibilities

  • NHS Borders Psychology service is delighted to be inviting applications for an Assistant Psychologist to work specifically within our trauma workstream.
  • This Assistant Psychologist post will operate within this workstream with funding for the post specifically with a remit to support the development of trauma-informed services and trauma-responsive workforces.
  • The postholder will also provide support to stakeholders within the Integrated Psychological Trauma Steering Group, including those with lived experience of trauma, as well as support with training, outcomes evaluation and project delivery.
  • We particularly welcome applicants who have an interest in working with trauma and those with experience of developing or working within trauma-informed services.
  • A degree of remote working may be possible, however in-person working and travel across the Borders will be a key part of the post.
