Responsibilities

  • - Support the Forensic and Clinical Psychology Team to develop the mental health and learning disability pathways in the local prisons
  • - Provide psychology input to the prison based at HMP Full Sutton and HMP Millsike
  • - Work with adult males in the prisons who present with risky behaviours and who display signs of complex mental health difficulties
  • - Support the development of a specialist psychology service within the prison mental health provision
  • - Act as the psychology representative within the wider multidisciplinary team
  • - Contribute to service-based evaluation and audit, service development and teaching/training
  • - Develop research activity within the department
