Responsibilities

  • Executes day to day processing of accounting transactions within defined standard operating procedures with a purpose of achieving service delivery goals for the organisation and providing first level support for both technical and functional issues raised by end users.
  • Is a Subject Matter Expert in accounting or business transactions in a specific area of operations.
  • Accounting Operations includes accounting operations roles involved in overseeing the day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and in compliance with regulations, accounting principals and standards.
  • Covers cost accounting (allocating and analyzing direct and indirect costs, actual vs. budgeted cost variance analysis, etc.), and budget accounting (developing and monitoring annual revenue/expense budgets for the purpose of controlling funds and measuring operating results).
  • Also covers accounts payable / accounts receivable, billing & invoicing roles.
  • Perform month end accounting and reporting activities complying with IFRS, using SAP, BW, OneStream, MS Excel and other process specific tools.
