Responsibilities

  • Own the requirements walkthrough, sprint refinement, and story mapping sessions. Define sprint goals.
  • Guide the juniors to translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is complete, consistent, comprehensible, feasible, flexible, and conforms to standards.
  • Create complex use cases, process models, flowcharts, and decision tables to provide direction to engineers and/or project teams.
  • Ensure completeness of the written requirements in the format of business requirements documents (BRDs) and user stories with acceptance criteria (Scrum).
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies to enhance them.
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; redefine as necessary.
  • Review survey and interview results by working closely with the UI/UX team and ensure the requirements are developed with the customer-first approach.
  • Collect feedback from Sales, Success, and Support teams on upcoming and newly released features.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements through written documentation to all stakeholders.
  • Sign off on all QA test cases and monitor the results.
  • Participate in the bug triage process and prioritize the issues for the engineering teams to fix.
  • Ensure completeness of the UAT test cases, conduct, and monitor UAT progress along with bug fixes, update project status in JIRA, and assist the Product Owner in signing off for production release.
  • Perform competitive analysis and channel the gaps into product backlog items and initiatives.
  • Participate in Scrum team retrospectives to improve internal processes.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve support tickets.
  • Closely work with engineers and QA to resolve product bugs.
  • Closely work with Technical Writers to document help articles, release notes, and FAQs for upcoming releases.
  • Mentor juniors to foster a positive environment and facilitate retention and engagement.
  • Organize and prioritize a multitude of responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Ability to regularly participate in international meetings remotely (can be in the morning and/or evening).
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer.
