Requirements

  • 8+ years Physical Security hardware and software technical experience in an enterprise environment
  • 5+ years globally managing Physical Security technology projects, vendors, and solutions
  • Successful project participation and delivery at an enterprise level
  • Detailed knowledge of Physical Security access control and surveillance technologies including various systems by manufacturer products, features, costs, and comparative performance
  • Knowledge of internationally applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to the installation of physical security systems to ensure compliance
  • Comprehension and adaptation of Information Security and Risk concepts
  • Experience in Financial Services or other regulated industry with security as a top priority
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of software and hardware systems including ACS, VMS, and CCTV components such as electronic locks, card readers, request to exit devices, access control panels, reader boards, power supplies and cameras.
  • General networking concepts

Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical access control and video monitoring technologies to support building security and privacy requirements
  • Manage the physical security technology projects and vendors in collaboration with globally dispersed teams and 3rd parties to ensure project timelines and requirements are met
  • Vendor management to include, scheduling, quote and SOW review and management, standards enforcement
  • Design, budget, document, and implement physical security technology using structural drawings and as-builts
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with information while safeguarding intellectual property
  • Establish and maintain effective and continuous communication with key stake holders and project team members on project status, issues, and any changes to the project scope, budget, timeline, and/or resources
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of physical security technical policies, standards, and operating procedures
  • Keep abreast of technical and professional trends and developments in physical security systems through publications, conferences, seminars, and classes
