Responsibilities

  • Meet with assigned student-athletes and go over all classes and ensuring student is staying organized and on top of their school work
  • Provide structure, organization, time management, and planning assistance
  • Develop individual action plans for assigned student-athletes and complete varied projects assigned by supervisors
  • Hold student-athletes accountable for following study hall policies, reporting to sessions on time and staying on task. Report any problems immediately to academic staff
  • Review student-athlete academic progress, maintain weekly grade report while keeping confidentiality of student-athletes records and adhere to department policies
  • Will gain experience with NCAA initial and continuing eligibility
  • Will be trained to use GradesFirst/Campus, NCAA Eligibility Center, Team Works and CA (compliance assistant) and enter data where applicable
  • Periodically check class attendance for student-athletes based on schedule assigned for that day
  • Report absences to supervisor
  • Run study hall report for students in study hall program 2x a week via Navigate
  • Other assigned duties
