Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development: Identify potential partners, and establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with banks, regional funds, and debt investors to facilitate the funding of our growing loan book.
  • Due Diligence Management: Take the lead in managing the due diligence process with prospective partners, assembling and sharing or presenting responses, reports, and other data to reflect the superior quality of the loan portfolio and the strength of the business fundamentals.
  • Process Management: Manage and continuously improve internal processes to support the day-to-day operations necessary to run off-book loans carried by the funding partners.
  • Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with potential funding partners to secure optimal funding arrangements, including facility sizes, loan terms, pricing, collateral requirements, and other terms.
  • Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with funding partners, ensuring regular communication, addressing concerns, and seeking opportunities for collaboration and expansion.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal teams, and funding partners to ensure all necessary documentation, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards are met for successful funding transactions.
  • Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact funding opportunities or affect lending strategies.
