What type of patients will I be working with as a Therapy Support Worker?
You will be working with patients who are admitted with respiratory conditions requiring surgery and those participating in rehabilitation on the intensive care unit.
Is experience necessary for this role?
While previous experience is beneficial, the position is open to enthusiastic individuals willing to learn and provide excellent care for our patients.
What skills are important for this position?
Strong communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
What kind of tasks will I assist patients with?
You will assist patients with self-care tasks such as washing/dressing, toileting, activities of daily living, mobility, and exercise programmes.
Will I be working alone or as part of a team?
You will be working closely with experienced physiotherapists and occupational therapists as part of a friendly and inclusive multi-disciplinary therapy team.
