What is the primary role of the Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber in the Neurodevelopmental Pathway?

What qualifications are required for this position?
Applicants must be qualified and experienced non-medical prescribers (NMP) and ideally have significant experience in a neurodevelopmental or mental health setting.
What does the typical work schedule look like?
The typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Will the post holder have a caseload?
Yes, the post holder will manage their own caseload while also supervising and assisting the ongoing development of other team members.
Is a driving license required for this role?
Yes, a full UK Driving License and access to a car during working hours are required for this position.
Who will the Non-Medical Prescriber collaborate with?
The NMP will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, closely collaborating with paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists (SALTs), and CAMHS colleagues for selected cases.
