What are the qualifications required to apply for the Biomedical Scientist position?
Applicants should have a relevant biomedical science degree and preferably have completed the IBMS Specialist Portfolio to be considered for a Band 6 rate.
Is this position full-time or part-time?
This position is full-time, with participation in a 24/7 shift system, including evenings, weekends, and nights.
What type of equipment will I be working with in the laboratory?
You will be working with Beckman Coulter Automated Track, AU5800 series chemistry analysers, DXI and Roche Immunoassay analysers, as well as specialist equipment including mass spectrometers, ICP-MS, and HM-JACKarc.
Is there a possibility for relocation assistance?
Yes, there is a generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k) available for hard-to-fill positions where relocation is necessary.
