What qualifications do I need to apply for the Biomedical Scientist position?
You must be HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientists. We also consider applications from individuals close to completing their relevant degree and who have completed their pre-registration portfolio.
What is the pay scale for this position?
Staff will be appointed to either the band 5 or band 6 pay scale, depending on the criteria listed in the person specification.

The laboratory is modern, well-equipped, and fully UKAS 15189 accredited, featuring advanced equipment such as Roche Cobas PRO systems, IDS iSYS, and various mass spectrometers.

Will I be required to work shifts?
Yes, once appropriately trained, participation in the 24-hour shift system will be required, for which appropriate AFC enhancements are paid.
