Requirements

  • The one essential requirement is that you have an undergraduate degree (or are about to complete one). Our programme is designed to give you all the knowledge and experience you need so it doesn’t matter what your degree is in. We’re much more interested in the passion, drive and talent you’re able to bring to the team.
  • It’s vital that our business analysts have a curious mindset – if you are the sort of person that loves getting into the detail of how things work and is always wanting to know more; the business analysis role will be a great fit for you.
  • You’ll be a natural collaborator. You will love bringing people together and working with them to find all the pieces of the puzzle and delivering a solution that works for everyone. You’ll be bringing some amazing products to the market, so you’ll need to have a passion for delivering excellence for our customers.
  • You’ll be comfortable building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels and can communicate with confidence. Working with so many people across the business, this is a perfect role to build your personal brand. Overall, you will have a drive and ambition to believe in better – for yourself, your team, the business and our customers.

Responsibilities

  • On this two-year programme, you’ll work at pace on high-profile projects, working with senior decision makers and experts around the business. You’ll feel a huge sense of achievement delivering large scale change for the business, our people and our customers. After two years, you’ll join the team as a fully trained Business Analyst.
  • Our goal as a Business Analyst in the Project Management and Analysis team is to make things brilliantly easy for our customers, advisors, engineers and operational support teams. We do this by providing business and operational change expertise to projects driven by Technology or Product teams, owning the online and advisor-led customer experience. We lead on projects looking at efficiency, customer care, compliance and supporting our colleagues, from advisors and engineers to logistics planners and retail stores.
  • You’ll focus on finding innovative solutions, designing an ideal customer experience, and working with stakeholders from across the business to define and manage business requirements for change and land this change effectively in our customer facing operations teams.

Application Process

  • Step 1 – Submit your application.
  • We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and anything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience.
  • Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder so don’t forget to check it.
  • Step 2 – Complete our two online digital assessments.
  • These look at your Sky fit and your business fit. Why not pop onto our dedicated Prep hub to familiarise yourself with some of these digital assessments before completing them.
  • You’ll also have the opportunity to practice each of these assessments beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way.
  • Step 3 – Attend our virtual assessment centre
  • For the final stage, we’ll invite you to our virtual assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will give you a practical insight into what it’s like to work as a Business Analyst and will assess your aptitude for this programme.

Mission & Purpose

With 24 million customers across six countries, Sky is Europe’s leading media and entertainment company and is proud to be part of the Comcast group. Our 32,000 employees help connect our customers to the very best entertainment, sports, news, arts and to our own local, original content. Following the success of Sky originals like Chernobyl, we plan to double our investment in original content by 2024. We’re also developing a new TV and movie studio, Sky Studios Elstree, which is expected to lead to the creation of over 2,000 new jobs and generate an additional £3 billion of production investment in UK creative sector in the first five years alone. Our technology allows Sky customers to watch what they want, when they want, how they want and connects millions of people to content they love. And our online streaming service, NOW, brings viewers all the enjoyment of Sky with the flexibility of a contract-free service. We also believe that a company of our scale has a responsibility that goes beyond our business, and into the community. We recently announced a series of commitments to help tackle racial injustice and improve diversity and inclusion. To ensure the commitments are delivered, Sky will invest £10million per year across its markets for each of the next three years. We’re committed to being Europe’s first net zero carbon entertainment company by 2030 – two decades before we have to – and we’re an inclusive employer recognised by The Times and Stonewall for our commitment to diversity.
