Responsibilities

  • Implement the strategy for the infrastructure function regionally/globally.
  • A main voice in communicating the department’s strategy to the rest of the bank regionally.
  • Closely working with the regional Infrastructure leads & global COO in the implementation of the strategy.
  • Drives and coordinates all workforce related processes including hiring, recruiting, compensation and restructuring.
  • Supports talent management in the function including talent acquisition, retention, training, performance management processes and diversity.
  • Designs and implements the function's location and future of work strategy and target operating model.
  • Working with the regional leads to provide accurate monthly cost and workforce forecasts.
  • Responsible for allocating cost and headcount plans across the various areas of the finance function and driving the department towards its cost and workforce targets.
  • Where necessary, develop and execute actions to correct any divergence to plan.
  • Support and manage DBCM allocation keys and key interface to explain the allocation of finance charges.
  • Ensure timely billing and over / under recovery of revenues.
  • Ensuring required agreements are in place that justify the billing of services rendered.
  • A key spokesperson for the function in managing and communicating with our staff.
  • Working with our HR partners to drive the overall people agenda for the overall department.
  • Responsible for recruiting and managing our annual graduate recruitment, mentoring and intern classes.
  • Works with the regional leads and the respective leadership team members in their communication needs.
  • Defines, implements and oversees policies and key operating procedures for the function.
  • Ensures the function adheres to the bank wide policies, T&E processing, dB Buyer approvals, Information Barrier Group oversight, MTA, compliance mandatory training and the red flag process.
