Responsibilities

  • Costing is a key enabler for Airbus to offer the most competitive aircraft for new developments, optimizations and services. On the basis of technical and financial expertise combined with empowerment and team work, the team works as a consultant and business partner to bring cost awareness and actionable scenarios across the E2E business cycle, enabling balanced decisions and supplier negotiations with a high degree of confidence.
  • Helps decide corporate product and process strategies as they are formulated
  • Is involved early in all new aircraft / product developments
  • Is a key player in achieving competitive pricing agreements with aerostructure suppliers
  • Liaises with all levels of management in Airbus and with external suppliers
  • Responsible for delivering reports to MFV on current project status, resources, budget. Within the reports, create the KPIs as per functional requirements using tools from G-suite.
  • Bring project management skills into the organization
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with Airbus Ethic and Compliance Requirements, act with integrity and in a business neutral manner.
  • Support annual MFV roadmap with Overall analysis Workload -capacity and portfolio management
  • Produce Cost Reports on Planned versus Actuals
  • Monitor global KPIs/Performance - coordinate and track continuous improvement
  • Structure and consolidate trainings needs with links to the other teams, support training development
  • Support big projects management bringing project management skills
