Responsibilities

  • Management of the critical path and department documents, ensuring all information is up to date and readily accessible by other teams
  • Build excellent relationships with suppliers
  • Ensuring all information in the range plan is correct and updated on time
  • Raising SKU’s and Purchase orders, amending orders where required
  • Manage the tracking and administration of supplier quotations and open cost sheets, maintaining pricing accuracy and escalating delays or discrepancies to the Buying team where required
  • Manage the sample order process, ensuring all samples arrive on time for internal teams including shoots, influencer, and other key projects
  • Maintain an organised sample inventory by keeping all samples tidy, stored correctly, and prepared for meetings as needed
  • Assisting in fit sessions, providing administrative support
  • Conduct competitor analysis and review emerging trends
  • Managing sample invoice process
  • General team administration - post, courier and other ad hoc admin duties
  • Provide administrative support to the Buying Manager and Junior Buyer, in all areas of the buying department
  • Has an understanding of the costing process and has the confidence to contribute ideas around cost negotiations
