Responsibilities

  • Provide support to young people in line with Youth Services model of care and associated Frameworks
  • Build effective relationships with clients encouraging self-determination and participation
  • Provide ongoing assessment of client's issues, needs and circumstances from initial intake to exit
  • Ensure all clients are provided with safe accommodation, on-site supervision, guidance and support across all life domains
  • Ensure clients receive constructive advice on budgeting, shopping, cooking/nutrition, household cleaning etc.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date logs as means of effective communication
  • Provide on-call support after-hours as rostered/required
