  • This role is a member of our Unitary Board and as such is an executive director first and a portfolio holder second, working with the team to deliver the Trust strategy and having Board level responsibility for the overall delivery of financial management, financial planning / financial strategy and procurement support to the Trust.
  • This specifically includes the design and stewardship of credible financial policies, procedures, practices and reporting regime through to the Board of Directors.

  • Work across the Bay and Lancashire and South Cumbria to improve health equity, services and outcomes for our communities in line with the Governments 10 year health plan.
  • Ensure delivery of the Trust's vision to provide the highest possible standards of compassionate care; the very best patient and colleague experience; and to listen to and involve patients, colleagues and carers.
  • Deliver the Trust strategy and have Board level responsibility for the overall delivery of financial management, financial planning / financial strategy and procurement support to the Trust.
