  • Minimum 5 - 8 years experience in payment industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing business, driving revenue, and negotiating contracts
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address commercial challenges and identify opportunities for growth. Analytical skills and very strong P&L understanding.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree, MBA or professional certifications in commercial management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development and Fintech’s Revenue Growth: Lead the identification, pursuit, and conversion of new business opportunities in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Oversee the negotiation of commercial contracts, ensuring they meet legal, financial, and operational standards, and reflect mutually beneficial terms and protect Fintech and Booking.com’s interests.
  • Get things done. Oversee and own parts of the efforts execution and implementation. Own it many times end-to-end, successfully coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between internal teams (data science, product, engineering, finance, legal, operations, etc.) to drive business case building and smooth execution of commercial activities and projects.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team. Provide training, support, and professional development to team members to enhance performance and growth.
