Responsibilities

  • This post has responsibility for the management and clinical leadership of the children’s Therapy services comprising Speech and Language -Occupational Therapy-Physiotherapy-Dietetics within Enfield Community Services (Child Development Service -Family Hubs -pre-school, schools special and mainstream schools).
  • The postholder will provide day to day leadership and management of the service, which involves ensuring effective deployment of staff and resources to meet demands of service users and ensuring response times meet locally agreed guidelines and contractual obligations.
  • The postholder will implement systems and processes to ensure that these services are delivered in accordance with Trust-wide policies and national/local targets.
  • The postholder will be responsible for delivering the Therapies service to the London Borough of Enfield based on the SLAs, providing performance data and any other information required to support the compliance of monthly and quarterly KPI’s.
  • The postholder will assume delegated responsibility for delivering clinical governance, service review and development including setting priorities for this area of service and monitoring clinical risk including learning from incidents.
