Requirements

  • Ideally 2-5 years PQE
  • Experience of Commercial Contracts
  • Highly motivated curious self starter
  • Able to work collaboratively with senior colleagues and stakeholders across the business
  • Able to manage you own workload and performance of external advisers
  • Experience of working with MI would be beneficial
  • Strong skills in both Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to be able to prioritise multiple and conflicting workloads
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to thrive under pressure are absolute requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Providing robust, concise and commercially sound legal advice;
  • Advising on how to best structure arrangements with external suppliers;
  • Drafting and negotiating legal documentation to support those arrangements;
  • Reviewing and updating precedent documents;
  • Managing external legal advisers on specific outsourced projects;
  • Engaging with stakeholders (e.g. Cyber Security, Privacy, Finance, Data Protection);
  • Maintaining MI and one version of the truth contracts repository;
  • Supporting corporate governance;
  • Attending project meetings;
  • Providing input to legal processes;
