The main responsibility of the Contracts Coordinator is to ensure that Above-The-Line (ATL) talent is paid correctly and on-time, track important deadlines and obligations related to contracts, and support cross-functional teams in managing contractual financial obligations.
What experience is required for the Contracts Coordinator position?
The position requires 3-5 years of experience in contracts and payments administration, legal and/or business affairs at a television studio, production company, or law firm, or experience in production payroll and/or production finance.
What tools and software should candidates be familiar with?
Candidates should be familiar with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Mail) and any knowledge of entertainment payroll practices outside of the U.S. is a bonus but not required.
Are there any specific industry knowledge requirements for this role?
Yes, candidates should be familiar with union labor agreements, specifically WGA, Local 839, Local 399, etc.
