  • Previous experience within a customer-focused or security environment is essential, as well as knowledge of Microsoft packages including word and outlook. Applicants must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, effective communication and a level of literacy and comprehension, as well as good attention to detail. Applicant will have the ability to work on their own initiative and prioritise their workload. Full clean driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be required to work a rostered shift pattern including day, evening, nightshift, weekends and public holidays.
  • They will manage various systems and processes from a central control room, often without direct supervision.
  • They will communicate with departments, managers and peers to ensure smooth operations and provide clear and concise reports on systems and incidents.
  • They will monitor and respond to system alarms and initiate responses where appropriate and ensure the security and safety of all staff, patients and visitors, through monitoring PMTS, CCTV and Perimeter Detection systems.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring all vehicle movement within the Hospital is controlled and monitored through appropriate systems.
  • They will, when required work in the reception area and carry out reception duties, including, driving, searching, booking in and other related tasks.
