What is the primary role of the Coordinator, Marketing Events?
The Coordinator, Marketing Events supports the planning and delivery of global marketing events that contribute directly to Bain’s client engagement and market reputation efforts.
What type of events will I help manage in this role?
You will assist in managing Bain-hosted events, third-party conferences, and Market Reputation events.
What qualifications are preferred for this position?
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
How much experience is required for this role?
1–2 years of relevant experience in event support, marketing, or project coordination is required.
What skills are important for success in this role?
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication and relationship-building abilities, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are important.
Will I need to travel for this job?
Yes, a willingness to travel approximately 20–30% annually is required.
What will my responsibilities include regarding event logistics?
You will assist with event logistics, budgeting, venue sourcing, and provide on-site support to ensure smooth event execution.
How will I be collaborating with team members?
You will collaborate closely with Practice Marketers, Distribution Teams, and colleagues across the Marketing organization to ensure effective event planning and execution.
What educational background is preferred for this role?
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in a field related to marketing, event management, or communications.
