What is the primary focus of the Data Manager role?
The primary focus of the Data Manager role is to support a portfolio of Phase I-III clinical trials in the Lung and Breast trials team, and assist with trial-specific data management and processing biological samples.
Is prior experience in clinical research required for this role?
While we ideally want candidates with experience in clinical research, we are open to applicants who have some of the criteria and a clear enthusiasm for the role.
What responsibilities will the Data Manager have regarding case report forms?
The Data Manager will be responsible for completing data entry into case report forms as per protocols, ensuring they are high quality, accurate, and sent in a timely manner.
Will the Data Manager need to liaise with other departments?
Yes, the Data Manager will need to liaise professionally and appropriately with the MDT, Principal and Sub Investigators, Sponsors, and support departments.
What kind of samples will the Data Manager be processing?
The Data Manager will process biological samples in the trials lab and obtain tumour block samples as required.
How flexible is the working arrangement for this position?
The position supports hybrid remote working, allowing a combination of working from home and office-based working, but flexibility around on-site working is essential.
