The annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $212,600.00 in our highest geographic market.
How many Data Scientist III positions are available?
We are looking to hire four (4) Data Scientist III’s.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A PhD in Data Science, Applied Statistics, or a related field is preferred, along with strong statistical, mathematical, and programming skills. Relevant experience will also be accepted.
What technical skills are necessary for this role?
Candidates should have extensive experience with cloud tools for data science, machine learning and modeling, such as PySpark, Databricks, MLFlow, and languages like Python, SQL, and R.
What kind of projects will I be working on?
You will work on developing data-driven insights, predictive models, and optimization solutions for Nike's apparel and footwear product merchandising, design, and development functions.
Is there a focus on machine learning in this role?
Yes, the role requires experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, including building models, deep learning, neural network development, and GenAI.
How much experience is required for this position?
A minimum of 3+ years of experience building models, including deep learning and complex data analyses, is required.
Will I have the opportunity to collaborate with others?
