Responsibilities

  • AWE is currently recruiting for a Design Review Team Leader (DRTL) responsible for providing independent technical and process governance support to the Capital Engineering project delivery teams during the design review and design change processes. The role includes the coordination of independent stakeholder reviews on behalf of the project delivery team, together with the chairing and technical arbitration at design reviews and design change panels. The DRTL shall report to and support the Lead Technical Authority (LTA) Design in nuclear licence condition health checks and compliance reporting whilst being a driving force behind the Engineering Community of Practice (CoP) workshops.
  • This role will give you the opportunity to become a focal point and signpost for advice, information and expertise about policy, best practice, engineering knowledge and standards; in addition to providing due governance and management to meet relevant nuclear licence conditions, safety codes and quality standards.
