Responsibilities

  • Build, own and drive B2B Travel payment segment strategy for merchants, acquirers, and enablers across the Travel value-chain.
  • Be the subject-matter-expert on B2B Travel payment flows with travel merchants (eg: airlines, hotels, OTAs).
  • Engage with ecosystem players including airlines, hotels, aggregators, travel enablers, travel associations, GDS and others to deliver relevant products/solutions and articulate Mastercard value proposition in Travel customer-centric language.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in the global B2B Travel vertical team as well as regional teams where required, to expande and evolve the B2B travel value proposition, products, and platforms to meet client/market needs in this ecosystem and drive future growth.
  • Identify, negotiate, develop (both independently and/or in collaboration with other Mastercard units) new business opportunities and strategic partnership that complement Mastercard’s B2B Travel Payment short and long-term vision.
  • Drive Mastercard B2B Travel VCN solutions expansion, in alignment with regional teams.
  • Identify new opportunities and oversee and assess the evolution of the opportunity pipeline for B2B Travel across the region.
  • Engage and coordinate, deal preparation, negotiation and contracting phases for opportunities won in collaboration with Finance, Legal and relevant teams to be involved.
  • Build strong expertise and insights in key B2B Travel market through an ongoing market assessment and partner engagement.
  • Assess and follow up trends and needs in the travel space with especial focus on B2B payments identifying new elements to add to our value proposition in the B2B Travel Industry.
  • Work and align with Mastercard Product Teams, Regional Teams and other internal departments to push/achieve the strategic priorities.
  • Manage and/or coordinate relationship with strategic partners and develop a deep understanding on their products and long-term business strategies with a focus to maximize or generate new revenues streams.
  • Create team spirit and work towards sharing initiatives and knowledge within the team.
