Responsibilities

  • Team members are expected to work on a wide range of assignments across active products and industries (including those identified above). Work will include, but is not limited to:
  • Working closely with senior bankers and clients in a lean team setting, demonstrating initiative, ownership, judgment, and professionalism while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Coordinating complex, time-sensitive workstreams across internal teams and external parties, including clients, legal advisors, and other transaction participants.
  • Actively participating in transaction execution, developing and reviewing financial analyses and models, developing and reviewing transaction structures, financing alternatives, implementation paths, and scenario analyses as well as supporting senior bankers in client-facing interactions, commercial activities and deal execution.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and presenting client materials, including pitch books, strategic advisory presentations, transaction presentations, recommendations, and review of capital markets, ratings and credit perspectives to support discussions with clients and other stakeholders. Work involves developing and presenting perspectives, informed by reviewing substantial amounts of content, third party perspectives and recommendations, legislative and regulatory documents, credit and equity research, market reference points and internal experience.
  • Monitoring, tracking, interpreting and informing team on market activity and industry activity, including tracking and maintaining database of comparable transactions, fundamental credit and cost of capital implications, alternative approaches to execution, investor lists, and developments which will inform strategies, future activity, and client recommendations.
  • Maintain internal transaction and pipeline tracking tools, ensuring accuracy and organization in a fast-paced, multi-mandate environment, tracking news, legislative and regulatory activity and monitoring for potential opportunities. Over time, take an active role in covering clients and developing business development efforts.
  • Manage day-to-day transaction execution workstreams, including senior banker and clients requests and analysis on time with strong attention to detail.
  • Providing mentorship, training, and guidance to junior team members.
