Responsibilities

  • Design and verify electrical circuits within the Robotic Assisted Surgery Platform.
  • Design models and execute simulations. Analyze results.
  • Design and test custom electrical assemblies and cable assemblies.
  • Debugs components and complex systems
  • Develop, document, and execute test procedures and protocols.
  • Applies knowledge of personal computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems and device drivers.
  • Assembles bills of materials, interfaces with key suppliers.
  • Participate in generating electronics specifications from system and subsystem requirements.
  • Participate in the development of product build procedures.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Participate in developing requirements and perform hardware / software integration.
  • Participate in DFMECA and component derating studies.
  • Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
  • Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
