Responsibilities

  • - Oversee the scheduled and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery at plant-relevant sites (APD, & APD2), ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of all electrical assets.
  • - Lead and participate in the analysis, design, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of new and existing electrical systems.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on electrical engineering and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
  • - Support the implementation of energy management solutions, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
  • - Audit and recommend best practices for electrical system maintenance and operation.
  • - Develop and deliver training programs to the plant engineering team on electrical engineering and energy management topics.
  • - Liaise with local and foreign manufacturers, suppliers, and system integrators to obtain services, extract new technologies and technical clarifications, and arrange for maintenance and repairs.
  • - Implement system standardization and optimize resource utilization to ensure a high level of service.
  • - Develop and maintain energy models to predict energy consumption and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • - Participate in the optimization of energy costs and production plans.
  • - Analyze energy indicators and communicate site energy performance to stakeholders.
  • - Provide technical expertise, analysis, and support in the development and implementation of energy management tools and methods to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
  • - Identify, evaluate, and prioritize energy projects.
  • - Advise the engineering team on the purchase/selection and commissioning of new machines and equipment in accordance with set standards.
  • - Provide documented feedback to improve the knowledge of the energy network and the design of new installations.
  • - Support the different activities of the plant to improve their energy consumption.
  • - Define, design, develop, monitor, and optimize the plant's energy management program in a professional and systematic manner.
  • - Implement energy best practices and processes.
  • - Train operators, maintenance staff, and users on techniques and methods for consuming energy more efficiently.
  • - Support the performance of system and diagnostic energy audits (as a member of the energy audit team).
  • - Provide energy budget forecasts for the business to enable accurate financial forecasting.
  • - Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • - Energy Progress missions are in place.
  • - In order to improve IMEP and Costs, ambitions for reduction of Energy consumption and CO2 emission have been included in the Factory Master Plan (PDU).
  • - Energy Progress plans are developed and implemented based on LEAN Michelin Energy approach analyses and studies.
  • - There is an energy awareness program for all employees supported by Activity Management team.
  • - The CO2 internal price is considered in the MRI calculation for each project with a CO2 impact.
  • - Continuous improvement is achieved in terms of energy consumption and CO2 emission levels.
