  • Experienced Engineer ideally with a Energy Management qualification (CMVP/ CEM)
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with demonstrated project management and organisation skills.
  • Registered SEAI Energy Auditor, or Membership of one of the following bodies:
  • Energy Institute Chartered Energy Engineer
  • Energy Institute Chartered Energy Manager
  • Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Auditor
  • Practicing Non-Domestic BER Assessor registered with SEAI
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as a strong Collaborator that encourages teamwork, diversity and inclusivity.
  • Due to the nature of the role and the need to visit remote locations a Full Drivers Licence would be required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver onsite energy audits to customers from a broad range of industries, with strong understanding of different industrial mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring an SI426 standard of audit
  • Understanding customer energy requirements, identify and prioritise energy saving and renewable energy opportunities to commercial customers as well as building strategic relationships with clients taking them on journey from supply customers to net zero partners.
  • Undertaking the measurement and verification of energy savings resulting from a wide range of energy efficiency projects across commercial and residential sittings
  • Review Energy Conservation Measure’s and produce M&V plans to ensure energy consumption is accurately monitored to fully capture the level savings for reporting purposes
  • Analyse data and develop different methods to validate savings, such as carrying out regression analysis and normalisation of data using ENPIs, with the knowledge to explore alternative methods for verify savings
