  • Investment acumen and passion – the Research Associate will have a passion for, and understanding of, the European and broader equity markets, combined with a well-articulated process for researching and evaluating companies. The ideal candidate will be curious and passionate about markets, with an ability to work independently, and to undertake company and industry research with the objective of generating successful investment ideas for client portfolios. In addition, they must exhibit a fundamental, research oriented, bottom-up approach, and be able to consistently implement ideas through an analytical framework.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills – the successful candidate will be energised by being an individual contributor within a collaborative team, and will embrace the benefits of overlapping lines of company coverage and idea generation across the firm. The Research Associate will build strong trusting relationships internally with colleagues, and externally with company management teams.   • Generate successful long and short investment ideas, and provide constant monitoring of existing positions;
  • Cover multiple industries, and analyse stocks across the full market cap spectrum;
  • Build multi-year financial models to determine appropriate valuations under various scenarios;
  • Work as part of a small, highly collaborative team, sharing ideas and offering feedback.
