The primary role of a Field Clinical Specialist is to provide directed product support education, training, and insight in the proper use of specialty medical devices in selected diagnostic and interventional procedures, while also serving as a liaison with customers on clinical and technical matters.
Is this a field-based position?
Yes, this is a field-based position that requires daily travel to customer accounts and approximately 70% overnight travel by car and/or air.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A minimum of a 4-year health sciences or science-related Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with technical or professional health services licensure (e.g., RT, RCIS, RN) preferred. A minimum of 3 years scrubbing experience within the Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology environment is also required.
Will I need to travel for this job?
Yes, this position requires approximately 70% overnight travel, including occasional weekend travel.
What kind of training will I provide as a Field Clinical Specialist?
You will train internal and external customers, including physicians, clinicians, and technicians, on the proper technique and use of therapeutic and diagnostic TIS products.
