Requirements

  • You are highly skilled in frequency converters and control in the process automation market
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in Drives service or Automation systems. It will be considered a plus if said experience is working as service technician with frequency converters or/and PLC´s
  • Highly adept in Drives and Control/Automation
  • You are innovative around service, troubleshooting and customer focus
  • FP or engineering degree in electronics, industrial or similar area
  • You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English
  • You hold current Spanish VISA / work permit

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid (70% on-site / 30% remote) This role is contributing to the Marine & Ports Service Division in Spain & Portugal. Main stakeholders are marine customers and shipyards. You will be mainly accountable for: Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. You will join a dynamic, talented and service oriented team, where you will be able to thrive.
