What department will I be working with as a Finance Accountant?
You will be part of the Group Controlling team in Gurgaon, India.
What are the primary responsibilities of the Group Controlling team?
The Group Controlling team is responsible for compliance with U.S. GAAP, maintaining finance policies, managing financial risk, accounting for acquisitions, and adhering to reporting requirements, among other duties.
What level is this position, and is there flexibility in hiring?
There is flexibility to hire at either the Finance Accountant or Senior Accountant level, depending on the candidate's experience.
What kind of projects will I be involved in?
You will assist in risk and compliance initiatives, internal audit findings follow-up, finance policy improvements, and various special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A degree in accounting or finance is required, along with a CPA or CA. An MBA is a plus, and candidates should also have 2+ years of relevant experience.
Is knowledge of any specific software applications required?
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and AuditBoard is preferred, along with strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
What understanding of accounting standards is necessary?
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and international financial reporting standards is highly desirable.
