Requirements

  • Experience in the food industry and / or a laboratory setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory and kitchen equipment, including ovens, thermometers, scales, pH meter
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook and Teams

Responsibilities

  • Support sensory sessions through sample preparation and serving of samples. Participate in and potentially lead some sensory sessions with support from the sensory team. Assist in data collection and reporting for sensory.
  • Manage Test Kitchen area meeting relevant parts of the Nestle Quality System (including good laboratory practices). Oversee general operation of the Test Kitchen including managing stock and routine maintenance such as calibration of equipment.
  • Support shipping and sourcing of ingredients and products.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (ie, Marketing, Sensory and Technical Applications) across businesses, balancing needs and delivering a high level of service.
  • Responsible to follow and uphold food safety, quality, occupational safety, health and environment policies and procedures as it pertains to the role.
