AI generated summary

  • You need a finance background, strong SQL skills, data visualization experience, a passion for D2C, and the ability to communicate insights from complex data clearly.

Requirements

  • A Commercial or Finance Background: You bring real experience from a commercial or finance role and are comfortable with core financial concepts (P&L, unit economics, financial metrics, etc.)
  • A Data-First Thinker: You see the move from traditional spreadsheet-based reporting and modelling to a warehouse-first approach as an evolution worth embracing. You're strong in SQL, ideally have some Python experience, and it's a big plus if you've used Hex (or other data visualisation tools).

  • An AI-Forward Operator: You embrace modern tools, including LLMs, to enhance your work and streamline your workflows - freeing up time for the high-value analysis that makes the difference.
  • A Clear Communicator: You can take messy, multi-source data and turn it into something people genuinely understand - clear models and commentary that tell a coherent story and help others make decisions.

  • Reporting & Visibility: Build and maintain scalable reporting that gives the business clear, reliable visibility into commercial and financial performance.
  • Forecasting: Own and continuously improve our forecasting process, making it more accurate, more automated, and more useful.
  • Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Support end-to-end financial modelling and scenario analysis to stress-test plans and inform key decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Partnering: Partner with Marketing, Ops, and other teams - feeding the forecasting process, supporting ad-hoc analysis, and surfacing the insights that improve how we operate.
  • Strategic Insights: Be the voice of the data - turning analysis into clear commercial commentary that helps the business decide what to do next.
