  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, procuments systems (SAP) and analytical tools. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic sourcing – Develop, implement, and oversee procurement strategies for fruits and vegetables to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and reliable supply sources in alignment with the company’s goals.
  • Supplier Management – Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers across Europe. Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service agreements to ensure favorable terms.
  • Market Analysis – Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics for fruits and vegetables. Provide market intelligence and insights to guide procurement decisions and mitigate risks.
  • Cost Optimization – Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality or supplier performance. Achieve procurement KPIs related to savings, delivery performance, and quality.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration – Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of raw materials to meet production schedules.
  • Risk Management – Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions, price volatility, and seasonal variations in supply.
  • Sustainability Initiatives – Align procurement strategies with Kraft Heinz's sustainability goals, ensuring the sourcing of sustainable and responsibly grown fruits and vegetables.
  • Budgeting & Reporting – Prepare and manage the procurement budget for fruits and vegetables, providing regular updates and reports on key performance metrics, spending, and procurement strategies.
