Requirements

  • University degree preferably with a doctorate / Ph. D
  • Long-term work experience in technology and innovation management or a tech driven business
  • Experienced in handling C-level executives from corporates and higher education institutions
  • Understanding of Siemens’ core technologies & business portfolio for guaranteeing the perfect matchmaking with external research excellence
  • Profound knowledge of innovation policies, the startup scenery, targets, profile and needs of higher education institutions worldwide, preferably validated with relevant advisory board seats or memberships
  • Proven track record in leading global and multi-cultural teams (disciplinary leadership)
  • Curiosity and ability to partner and building up (contractual) relationships with science institutions, startups, industry partners in the very early phases of research and predevelopment
  • Outstanding communication skills in English. Proficiency in spoken and written German would be a plus

  • Lead a team of 15 Senior Consultants across the globe
  • Define strategy and sustainably implement Siemens' collaboration offerings with external partners in the innovation process
  • Drive the current programs, such as Siemens Research & Innovation Ecosystem, Siemens for Startups and Tech4Sustainability and further
  • develop them
  • Scout for the best partners for Siemens in tech research & innovation outside the company.
  • Drive the Siemens PhD network and constantly improve it
  • Represent Siemens in relevant external science, university, startup related advisory boards
  • Support the Siemens Management Board in their academic board memberships
