Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • Cisco CCNP Certification and Professional level Aruba Certifications; corresponding technical fields working with multiple, diverse technologies, services in LAN&WiFi, Wireless connectivity (Private5G, Bluetooth, Zigbee), DDI suite (DHCP, DNS, IP Address Management) and Cloud, as well as Policy Management (ClearPass) and Central Management (DNAC, Aruba Central) platforms.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in the relevant area of expertise within an enterprise / global environment, in leading technical evaluation, implementing, and resolving LAN&WiFi issues, including those involving 3rd party suppliers.
  • Highly desirable to have strong project management, service integration and change adaptability to support product and service management competencies.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience with LAN and WiFi technologies from Cisco and Aruba, as well as expertise in cloud architectural solutions and a track record of successful network transformation projects.
  • Extensive LAN & WiFi Experience: Demonstrated expertise in LAN and WiFi technologies, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructure.
  • Network Design and Implementation: Proven ability to design and implement LAN and WiFi networks, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and security.
  • Proficiency in Network Protocols: In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs, enabling efficient network communication and management.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Vendor-specific Knowledge: Familiarity with leading LAN and WiFi equipment vendors, such as Cisco and Aruba, and their respective technologies and configurations.
  • Security Awareness: Understanding of network security principles and best practices, including secure authentication, encryption, and access control mechanisms for LAN and WiFi networks.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest LAN and WiFi technologies, industry trends, and emerging standards to adapt and optimize network infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and provide support to end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure IS/IT Customer and Consumer requirements are met, and service quality maintained when introducing new products. Consider the cost effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Ensure that all solutions within their technology area are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements.
  • Assist others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommend SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely) solutions.
  • Participate in peer reviews of deliverables and carry out formal and informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation and implementations.
  • Provide deep specialist guidance, integration and support in your specific specialties.
  • Support and influence the technical activity (design, build, testing) in significant or complex innovation initiatives, accountable to the Product Owners or Platform Manager for the delivery and quality of technical deliverables.
  • Make recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the use of (emerging) technology, technical methods and methodologies.
  • Provide the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision.
  • Work with Regional manager, Product managers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects and Business Analysts to ensure any solution within their specificities fits with strategic and technical direction.
