Requirements

  • A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering ,
  • Interested in working on complex engineering projects
  • Ability to work in a vibrant multidiscipline 3D design environment
  • Good understanding of structural principals, ability to use design software, and design using codes
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment
  • Ability to produce accurate work to agreed time schedules
  • Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • As a Civil/Structural Engineering Graduate, your day to day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities:
  • Design of Civil Engineering works (roads, car parks, underground drainage, utilities and earthworks)
  • Presenting designs to multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients
  • Producing drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit
  • Writing civil engineering reports
  • Inspection of works on site.
  • Structural design mainly in concrete and steel to various design codes
  • Structural analysis using proprietary software
  • Communicating design information using calculations, sketches and marked-up drawings
  • Working as a part of a multi discipline design team on structural design of buildings and structures to arrive at coordinated, optimal and efficient solutions
