Requirements

  • We are looking for candidates to hold a relevant degree in Economics, Geography or related degree.
  • We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:
  • A logical and analytical approach
  • Great problem-solving and communication skills,
  • Ability to use your own initiative and to think outside the box.
  • Work experience in Economics would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning your new role on the job and with the support from our Graduate Training Scheme.

Responsibilities

  • As a Graduate Economic Analyst, you will be supporting the Economics team to provide economic input on planning statements, representations, economic benefit reports, socio-economic chapters and other similar reports. You will support research projects that includes data collection, collation, analysis and interpretation and to present research analysis to colleagues and clients.
  • You will also gain valuable experience working on a range of sectors such as residential and regeneration schemes, town expansion, retail, commercial, leisure and renewable energy projects to support with your development.
